Job summary

NetApp in Canberra is seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer to own and advance an open-source application platform, covering provisioning, installation, and reliable production operation. You will work in a tight-knit team and collaborate across functions.

You will take end-to-end ownership, mentor colleagues, and lead complex initiatives while applying DevOps practices in a 24x7 global environment.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in software engineering or computer science.
• 5-10 years of commercial experience regularly delivering quality software and overcoming technical challenges.
• Demonstrated experience delivering complex technical solutions.
• Proficiency in Java, SQL and at least one other modern programming language - and openness to learning more.
• Strong communication skills and a humble and collaborative nature - essential for working harmoniously with multiple teams.
• A curious mindset with a keen interest in how your work will positively impact customers.
• Eagerness to tackle new challenges and continuously grow you and your team’s software engineering skills.
