Aptus Personnel is seeking a Mid-level Structural Engineer for buildings in Queensland. The role covers education, health and commercial projects with on-site involvement and a strong mentoring environment from senior leaders.

You will work on concrete, steel, masonry and timber designs, produce calculations and reports, and liaise with clients, architects and contractors. A family-friendly, relaxed team culture and long-standing client base accompany a solid work-life balance.

Qualifications

• 2–6 years experience as a Structural Engineer in an Australian consultancy.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Standards for concrete, steel and timber design.
• Experience producing design calculations and technical reports.
• Comfortable performing site inspections and addressing RFIs.
• Strong client relationship management and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Structural analysis and design of concrete, steel, masonry, and timber structures.
• Liaise with clients, architects, contractors and other consultants.
• Deliver projects from concept through construction with mentoring from leaders.
• Contribute to a stable client base and varied project work.
