Job summary

Downer is seeking Team Members – Microsurfacing to join our Pavement Preservation crew based in Somerton, VIC. You will support microsurfacing and road preservation works across Victoria and interstate, working with a crew to deliver high-quality outcomes.

This role operates on an annualised salary with roster cycles including time away from home, and offers structured pay and development opportunities within a safety-focused team.

Qualifications

• HC licence considered an advantage.
• Able to pass commercial driver medical.
• Experience operating trucks and machinery.
• Desirable: road surfacing or civil construction background.

Responsibilities

• Labour across road maintenance and surfacing works.
• Operate and drive heavy vehicles.
• Assist microsurfacing operations and equipment.
• Support maintenance and repairs of plant and equipment.
• Work with crew to deliver quality outcomes.
• Travel away from home as part of roster.
