Job summary

Pullman Sydney Hyde Park, part of Accor, is seeking a proactive Business Development Manager to drive MICE and corporate revenue. Reporting to the Director of Sales, you will identify new clients, build a strong pipeline and convert opportunities into confirmed business through industry events, visits and targeted outreach.

Collaborating with the Conference & Event Sales and Revenue teams, you will nurture relationships with agencies, PCOs, DMCs and corporate clients, while expanding the hotel's

Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality sales with proven MICE results.
• Proactive, commercially driven with ability to turn opportunities into revenue.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively prospect for new clients and business opportunities, focusing on MICE.
• Identify new sources of revenue and untapped markets for the hotel.
• Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through cold calling, client visits, networking and events.
• Develop relationships with corporate clients, event agencies, PCOs, DMCs and other decision-makers.
• Convert leads into confirmed business and maximise revenue potential.
• Collaborate with Conference & Event Sales, Revenue and Operations teams to maximise opportunities.
• Stay informed about market trends, competitor activity and changes in the MICE landscape.
• Represent the hotel at industry events to increase visibility and generate new leads.
