Job summary

Pullman Sydney Hyde Park is seeking a Business Development Manager for MICE and Groups to drive new business and revenue growth in the meetings, incentives, conferences and events sectors. You will identify opportunities, build relationships with corporate clients and agencies, and expand the hotel’s MICE share through proactive selling and market insight.

Qualifications

• Sales experience in hospitality with strong MICE focus and tangible results.
• Proactive, commercially driven salesperson who builds relationships and turns opportunities into revenue.
• Excellent verbal and written communication with strong stakeholder management.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new MICE clients and opportunities; build a robust sales pipeline.
• Develop relationships with corporate clients, agencies, PCOs, DMCs, and associations.
• Convert opportunities into confirmed business and maximise revenue potential.
• Collaborate with Sales, Revenue and Operations to maximise shared opportunities.
• Represent the hotel at industry events and client activities to generate new leads.
