Job summary

AusNet is seeking a Manager, Asset Management - Metering to lead strategy, performance and compliance for our regulated metering fleet. Based at Beaconsfield, you will drive asset performance, shape investments and oversee metering services across our network.

You will lead a team and work with stakeholders to ensure safe, reliable and efficient metering outcomes for customers and communities in Victoria.

Qualifications

• Extensive experience in metering and asset management.
• Knowledge of metering regulations and NEM requirements.
• Experience developing asset lifecycle strategies and investment roadmaps.
• Proven leadership and people development capability.
• Strong commercial and stakeholder management capability.
• Strategic, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Current Victorian Driver's Licence.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development and execution of the metering asset strategy and lifecycle plans.
• Ensure compliance with current and emerging metering regulations and obligations.
• Drive investment planning, business cases and regulatory submissions that optimise asset performance and customer outcomes.
• Oversee field services and metering maintenance programs and AMI communications infrastructure.
• Manage metering asset CAPEX and OPEX budgets.
• Govern the assessment and deployment of new metering technologies, software and communications systems.
• Lead and develop a high-performing team, building capability and delivering strategic business outcomes.
