Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years' experience with AEMO Market Settlement processes (substitution methods, finalising data, RM reports).
• Understanding of Metering Provider and Metering Data Provider market obligations.
• Experience responding to customer enquiries and resolving escalations in a customer-centric role.

We're looking for a Metering Service Administrator to join our Beaconsfield team. As a Metering Services Administrator, you'll play an important role in supporting the installation, scheduling, maintenance and meter data management of contestable metering services within the Type 1-4 market.

Working as part of the Data Management team, you'll help ensure the quality and accuracy of metering data used for National Electricity Market settlements and customer billing.

This role offers a great opportunity to work across data management, customer outcomes and operational planning while supporting critical market and billing obligations.

What you'll be doing:

• Deliver quality metering data to customer and market timeframes
• Perform settlement extracts in line with AEMO requirements
• Investigate and resolve metering data anomalies
• Support customers and channel partners with enquiries
• Manage registration and commissioning activities
• Respond to NMI status enquiries from market participants
• Maintain polling systems to ensure validated data distribution
• Provide administrative support to achieve KPI targets

You don’t need to check every box, however we're looking for a good combination of:

• A minimum of 2 years' experience working within AEMO's Market Settlement processes (i.e working knowledge of substitution methods and finalizing data, running RM reports etc)
• Knowledge of the role of the Metering Provider and the Metering Data Provider's market obligations.
• Experience responding to customer enquiries and resolving customer escalations in a customer centric role.
• Experience working with field technicians or similar
• Experience in the utilities business domain or in renewable energy industry would be an advantage, but not mandatory
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Excellent time management skills and able to prioritize workload effectively
