Job summary

Downer Energy & Utilities is seeking casual meter readers in NSW to support our utilities contracts. You will be outdoors, walking long distances to read meters, and entering readings with a handheld device. Training is provided and no prior meter-reading experience is required.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle.
• Ability to walk long distances and work outdoors in all weather.
• Strong time management and reliability.
• Good customer service skills and friendly communication.
• Motivation to work safely, follow schedules and get the job done right the first time.

Responsibilities

• Read meters and enter readings using a handheld device.
• Walk throughout assigned areas and perform meter reads accurately and safely.
