Job summary

Downer Energy & Utilities is seeking applicants for a casual meter-reading role. You will walk to assigned locations, read meters, and enter readings into the device, while keeping safety at the forefront.

No prior meter reading experience is required as full training is provided; you’ll join a close-knit team, with clear processes and support across broad utilities contracts.

Qualifications

• Must have a valid driver's license and reliable vehicle.
• Able to walk long distances and work outdoors in all weather.
• Good time management and reliability are essential.
• Strong customer service and friendly communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform meter readings in assigned areas using provided device.
• Enter readings accurately and on time into the system.
• Follow safety procedures and work to schedule.
