Downer’s Energy & Utilities division is hiring for a casual meter reader role in Australia. You will walk outdoor routes to read meters, using a handheld device to enter readings with training provided.

A reliable vehicle and a valid driver’s licence help you succeed, and you’ll join a close‑knit team with clear safety processes. Pre‑employment checks are mandatory, and ongoing support is offered as you work across wide‑reaching utilities contracts.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Walk long distances to read meters outdoors.
