AngloGold Ashanti Australia is seeking a Metallurgy Technician to join the Sunrise Dam Gold Mine lab processing team. You will conduct sample analysis, ensure quality control, and contribute to process improvements while upholding safety and environmental standards.

Qualifications

• Experience in Gold Processing or Metallurgical Labs is highly desirable.
• Basic computer skills.
• Enthusiasm to learn.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Flexibility and initiative.
• Current WA Manual Driver's License.
• Ability to attain a National Police Clearance.
• Permanent work rights in Australia.

Responsibilities

• Sampling duties and laboratory test work including sample preparation and analysis.
• Ensure procedures follow established protocols and that results are reliable and reproducible.
• Maintain laboratory and plant equipment/instrumentation to ensure continuous and accurate operation.
• Coordinate the collection of data, information, and reporting for the Metallurgy Work Group.
• Routine and adhoc plant sampling for surveys and process improvement work.
• Assist with routine gold room duties such as cleaning electrowinning cells and smelting.
