Job summary

ALS is seeking enthusiastic Technicians for our metallurgical services in Perth, WA. You will be a casual employee working up to 75 hours per fortnight, with day/afternoon and some night shifts, with view to permanent full-time after probation and performance.

Responsibilities include lab testwork, sample prep, digestion, fusing, instrument use, and routine tasks in Balcatta; training provided. Applicants from lab or mine sites are welcome; strong communication and attention to detail are

Qualifications

• Experience in laboratory or mine-site roles preferred, training provided.
• Strong communication, organisation and time management skills.
• Great attention to detail and ability to work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform metallurgical lab testwork procedures safely and accurately.
• Carry out duties including cleaning, weighing, labeling, sampling, digestion, fusing and instrument operation.
• Maintain high cleanliness, apply ALS procedures, and manage time effectively on shifts.
