Job summary

The Arnott’s Group is seeking a dedicated Merchandiser for the South of Perth area. This permanent part-time role requires a minimum of 15 hours per week, with flexibility to increase hours as workload dictates.

You must have a valid driver’s licence and access to a roadworthy vehicle to service local stores. Responsibilities include building and maintaining in-store displays, stock coverage, and assisting with selling initiatives.

Qualifications

• Must have a Higher School Certificate.
• Experience in merchandising/sales, preferably in a grocery or FMCG environment.
• Strong commitment to customer service and in-store execution.

Responsibilities

• Perform merchandising duties at store level to create an appealing visual presence.
• Maximise sales by identifying incremental opportunities and promoting promotions.
• Ensure stock is available on displays with correct ticketing and POS.
• Maintain relationships with store personnel and respond to requests.
• Follow the Call Plan and complete in-store tasks via i-CAP and Territory Manager.
• Support Territory Manager in achieving objectives through selling and POS management.
• Adhere to OH&S guidelines and company standards.

SOUTH OF PERTH - BULLCREEK TO CLAREMONT AND SURROUNDS - 15 HOURS PER WEEK - PERMANENT PART TIME

The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join us within a high performing team as a Merchandiser in South of Perth suburbs and the surrounding areas.

This is a permanent part time position with a requirement to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, with the requirement to flex up when needed depending on workload. You will need to be available at least 2 days per week, must hold a valid driver's licence and must have access to a roadworthy vehicle.

About The Role

To establish at store level a visual presence through the building & maintenance of displays in line with identified trade standards and maintaining adequate stock cover. Given frequent contact with Customer store staff, a basic understanding of selling is required to assist with limited selling tasks such as selling in, confirming, or upgrading The Arnott’s Group promotional activity.

What Your Day Looks Like

• Perform merchandising duties at store level in line with communicated trade standards.
• Maximise sales by seeking incremental opportunities wherever possible
• Ensure adequate stock is available on displays and that correct ticketing and POS in in place.
• Manage customer relationships effectively through communication with relevant store personnel.
• Adherence to scheduled Call Plan and complete all in store tasks as requested through your i-CAP and via your Territory Manager.
• Assist the Territory Manager in achieving their business objectives and targets through selling, effective management & retention of POS and attempting to resolve non-compliance issues
• Strict adherence to provided OH & S guidelines

Ingredients For Success

• Preferably Higher school certificate
• Previous experience in a merchandising/sales role preferably in a grocery or FMCG organisation.
