Job summary

The Arnott's Group is seeking a dedicated Merchandiser to join our Field Sales - ANZ team in or around Coffs Harbour. This permanent part-time role requires a minimum of 15 hours per week with potential to flex up based on workload.

A valid driver’s licence and access to a vehicle are essential for store visits and deliveries. You will establish in-store visuals, maintain stock, and support promotional activity while building strong relationships with store personnel.

Qualifications

• Experience in merchandising or sales in grocery or FMCG preferred.
• Must be able to build displays, stock shelves and manage ticketing.
• Must hold a valid driver’s licence and have access to a roadworthy vehicle.

Responsibilities

• Perform merchandising duties at store level in line with trade standards.
• Maximise sales by seeking incremental opportunities where possible.
• Ensure stock is available on displays and that correct pricing is in place.
• Maintain relationships with store staff and communicate with the Territory Manager.
• Support the Territory Manager in achieving business objectives and resolving issues.
• Follow OH&S guidelines and company policies.

COFFS HARBOUR - 15 HOURS - PERMANENT PART TIME

The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join us within a high performing team as a Merchandiser based in or around Coffs Harbour.

This is a permanent part time position with a requirement to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, with the requirement to flex up when needed depending on workload. You will need to be available at least 2 days a week. You must hold a valid driver's licence, and must have access to a roadworthy vehicle.

About the Role

To establish at store level a visual presence through the building & maintenance of displays in line with identified trade standards and maintaining adequate stock cover. Given frequent contact with Customer store staff, a basic understanding of selling is required to assist with limited selling tasks such as selling in, confirming, or upgrading The Arnott’s Group promotional activity.

What your day looks like:

• Perform merchandising duties at store level in line with communicated trade standards.
• Maximise sales by seeking incremental opportunities wherever possible
• Ensure adequate stock is available on displays and that correct ticketing and POS in in place.
• Manage customer relationships effectively through communication with relevant store personnel.
• Adherence to scheduled Call Plan and complete all in store tasks as requested through your i-CAP and via your Territory Manager.
• Assist the Territory Manager in achieving their business objectives and targets through selling, effective management & retention of POS and attempting to resolve non-compliance issues
• Strict adherence to provided OH & S guidelines

Ingredient for Success:

• Preferably Higher school certificate
• Previous experience in a merchandising/sales role preferably in a grocery or FMCG organisation.
• Drive for Results, Customer Focus, Interpersonal Savvy, Creativity, Problem Solving, Basic Selling Skills
