Job summary

The Arnott’s Group in Warrnambool is seeking a dedicated Sales Support Representative to join our Field Sales team for the Warrnambool, Hamilton, Portland & Terang area. This permanent part-time role requires a minimum of 15 hours per week and you must have access to your own car.

You will build store-level visual presence, maintain displays, and ensure stock cover while assisting with selling tasks and promotional activity alongside store staff and the Territory Manager.

Qualifications

• Higher school certificate
• Previous experience in a merchandising/sales role preferably in a grocery or FMCG organisation.
• Drive for Results, Customer Focus, Interpersonal Savvy, Creativity Problem Solving, Basic Selling Skills

Responsibilities

• Perform merchandising duties at store level in line with communicated trade standards.
• Manage customer relationships effectively through communication with relevant store personnel.
• Assist the Territory Manager in achieving business objectives and targets through selling, effective management & retention of POS and attempting to resolve non-compliance issues.
• Strict adherence to provided OH&S guidelines.

Warrnambool Area

• Approx. 15 hours per week
• Applicants must have their own car.
• FMCG, Sales or Merchandising Experience preferred.

The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join us within a high performing team as a Sales Support Representative in the Warrnambool, Hamilton, Portland & Terang area.

This is a permanent part time position with a requirement to work a minimum of 15 hours per week, with the requirement to flex up when needed depending on workload. You will need to be available 2-3 days per week and must have access to your own car.

About the Role

To establish at store level a visual presence through the building & maintenance of displays in line with identified trade standards and maintaining adequate stock cover. Given frequent contact with Customer store staff, a basic understanding of selling is required to assist with limited selling tasks such as selling in, confirming, or upgrading The Arnott’s Group promotional activity.
