Job summary

The Arnott’s Group is hiring a dedicated Merchandiser for Central Perth/Hills on a permanent part-time basis. You will work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with flexibility to increase hours as needed. Access to your own car is required.

No weekend work is involved, with strong team support and a collaborative culture. As part of our Field Sales team, you will establish in-store displays, maintain stock, and engage with store staff to drive promotional activity.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a merchandising/sales role, preferably in a grocery or FMCG organisation.
• Drive for results with a customer-focused approach.
• Good interpersonal and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with a positive attitude.

Responsibilities

• Perform merchandising duties at store level in line with trade standards.
• Maximise sales by seeking incremental opportunities where possible.
• Ensure stock is available on displays with correct ticketing and POS in place.
• Manage relationships with store personnel and customers.
• Follow the Call Plan and complete in-store tasks via i-CAP and Territory Manager.
• Support Territory Manager in achieving business objectives and retaining POS.

CENTRAL PERTH - PERMANENT PART TIME - NO WEEKEND WORK

The Opportunity

We currently have an opportunity for a dedicated and enthusiastic individual to join us within a high performing team as a Merchandiser in Central Perth/Hills.

This is a permanent part time position with a requirement to work a minimum of 20 hours per week, with the requirement to flex up when needed depending on workload. You will need to be available at least 4 days per week and must have access to your own car. This position requires no weekend work with great support and team culture.

About the Role

To establish at store level a visual presence through the building & maintenance of displays in line with identified trade standards and maintaining adequate stock cover. Given frequent contact with Customer store staff, a basic understanding of selling is required to assist with limited selling tasks such as selling in, confirming, or upgrading The Arnott’s Group promotional activity.

What your day looks like:

• Perform merchandising duties at store level in line with communicated trade standards.
• Maximise sales by seeking incremental opportunities wherever possible
• Ensure adequate stock is available on displays and that correct ticketing and POS in in place.
• Manage customer relationships effectively through communication with relevant store personnel.
• Adherence to scheduled Call Plan and complete all in store tasks as requested through your i-CAP and via your Territory Manager.
• Assist the Territory Manager in achieving their business objectives and targets through selling, effective management & retention of POS and attempting to resolve non-compliance issues
• Strict adherence to provided OH & S guidelines

Ingredient for Success:

• Preferably Higher school certificate
• Previous experience in a merchandising/sales role preferably in a grocery or FMCG organisation.
• Drive for Results, Customer Focus, Interpersonal Savvy, Creativity, Problem Solving, Basic Selling Skills
