Kappa Executive Search in Sydney seeks an experienced MEP Estimator to join its team. The role focuses on delivering accurate estimates for data centre and mission-critical projects, supporting design through to construction, and advising on commercial risk and value optimization.

Ideal candidates will have a degree in Quantity Surveying or related fields, with proven MEP estimation experience and strong communication skills to collaborate with clients and contractors.

Qualifications

• Experience as an MEP estimator within construction or consultancy.
• Strong understanding of mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems.
• Experience preparing estimates and reviewing contractor pricing.
• Excellent analytical and commercial problem-solving skills.

Responsabilités

• Prepare MEP estimates and cost plans across all project stages.
• Review contractor bids and tender submissions to ensure value for money.
• Evaluate project scopes and identify commercial risks or cost gaps.
• Maintain and develop current market rates for estimating purposes.
• Undertake value engineering and cost optimisation exercises.
• Provide estimating support throughout design and construction phases.
• Build strong relationships with clients, consultants and contractors.
• Prepare clear cost documentation and commercial reports to support project decision‑making.
