Job summary

Asuria is seeking a dedicated Employment Services professional for a fixed-term role based in our Launceston Office. You will empower individuals to achieve sustainable employment through coaching, job placement and ongoing client support, meeting specified targets and collaborating with local employers.

Applicants should have experience in customer service or recruitment, and a proven track record in target-driven environments.

Qualifications

  • Experience in Employment Services or any customer-focused industry is advantageous.
  • Proven experience in customer service, sales, contact centre or recruitment.
  • Proven success in target-driven environments.

Responsibilities

  • Meet targets and provide tailored coaching, job placement and ongoing support.
  • Understand clients' employment needs and collaborate with employers to bridge talent and opportunity.
  • Support clients from the local labour market and advise on employment pathways.

What will you do?

At Asuria your role is to empower individuals to achieve sustainable employment.You will be required to meet specific targets, provide tailored guidance/coaching, job placement and ongoing support to your client group.Your commitment to understanding the unique employment needs of your clients and collaborating with employers to bridge the gap between talent and opportunity, is a key driver of success in this role.

  • Experience within Employment Services industry or relevant customer-focused industry is advantageous
  • Demonstrated experience in customer service, sales, contact centre or recruitment will set you up for success
  • Proven success within target driven environments is critical

A valid Police Check and Working with Children Check are mandatory requirements prior to commencement of employment. Successful candidates must set up a myGovID in order to access Government data aligned to role.

A confident communicator with exceptional interpersonal skills, you’ll also bring experience in coaching, mentoring, and case management within employment services or a similar field.

Problem-solving and goal-setting abilities are key, alongside a solid understanding of the local labour market and employment pathways.Organisational skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in administrative and IT tasks will also be important. Adaptability and resilience will assist you to navigate the diverse needs of job seekers and employers alike.

You must be able to balance empathy, dignity, and respect in your daily work with a drive to ensure we achieve positive business outcomes.
