Job summary

Odyssey House NSW is seeking a Mental Health Support Worker to join the Community Living Supports (CLS) program. The role delivers flexible, person-led support in line with each consumer's plan and collaborates with their chosen supports to promote recovery and community integration.

You will review progress with families or carers where consent is given, remain emotionally resilient, and work with a multidisciplinary team to adapt services as goals evolve.

Qualifications

• Relevant VET or tertiary qualification in a relevant field.
• Professional registration where relevant.
• Experience supporting persons with mental health support needs.
• Ability to mentor people toward recovery goals in a structured way.

Responsibilities

• Deliver flexible, person-led support aligned with the consumer's Individual Service Plan.
• Collaborate with chosen supports to ensure coordinated and culturally respectful care.
• Review and adjust support as needs and recovery goals evolve, with consent from family or carers.
