Job summary

Assure, part of the APM Group, is seeking a driven Business Development Manager to grow our mental health and wellbeing portfolio. You will own the pipeline from prospecting to close, targeting HR, health and safety, and wellbeing leaders across Australia.

This hunter role emphasizes consultative selling of our tech-enabled, human-centred solutions. You’ll work with marketing, clinical teams and product to shape offers, manage tenders, and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.

Qualifications

• 3+ years' proven B2B sales experience, with a track record of hitting targets.
• Strong hunter mindset and ability to build pipeline from outbound to close.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement, including senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Win new business – identify, pursue and close new customers across the Mental Health & Wellbeing portfolio, meeting an individual revenue target.
• Hunt and prospect – build your own pipeline through outbound outreach, networking, events and referrals; get in front of HR, health & safety and wellbeing leaders.
• Sell consultatively – understand each organisation's challenges and articulate the value of our tech-enabled, human-centred solutions.
• Lead pursuits – manage proposals, support tenders (RFPs/RFQs) and pricing, drawing on internal subject-matter experts and clinical teams.
• Manage your pipeline – maintain accurate CRM records, forecasts and reporting.
• Collaborate – work closely with marketing, clinical, account management and product teams to shape compelling offers and ensure smooth onboarding of new clients.
• Represent the brand – be a credible, professional ambassador for Assure and APM in market.
• Work with the SDR to assist with prospecting – partner with the Sales Development Representative to build and qualify pipeline through coordinated outreach and lead generation activities.
• Respond to inbound enquiries – engage promptly with inbound leads, qualifying opportunities and converting interest into meetings and proposal
