Job summary

Mind Australia seeks a Practice Development Advisor to provide expert guidance on practice standards, knowledge transfer, and continuous quality improvement across the organisation. This national, fixed-term, part-time role focuses on supporting operational teams to achieve best-practice standards and policy compliance.

The successful candidate will guide workforce skills development, embed knowledge transfer methods, and ensure lived experience is central to service delivery.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications (minimum Certificate IV) in Mental Health, AOD, Health, Social Policy, Social Science or other health-related field are required.
• Post-graduate qualifications in a relevant field are desirable.
• Comprehensive knowledge of safety and quality principles and systems in a health care setting.
• Proven ability to support managers and staff to monitor, evaluate and improve services.

Responsibilities

• Develop skills and knowledge to provide specialist practice and quality support to staff within allocated service stream.
• Build relationships with operational leaders to ensure collaborative development work.
• Develop, deliver and evaluate practice development projects across the organisation.
• Support Mind’s Quality Framework and embed a culture of innovation and improvement.
• Elevate the voice of Lived Experience and Lived Expertise in all work.
