Job summary

City Beach is looking for a motivated and organised Men's Production Assistant to join our Head Office team. Working alongside our Production Manager, Coordinators and Designers, you'll help bring our men's products from development through to delivery.

This role involves liaising with suppliers, Buyers and internal teams to maintain production timelines, ensure quality, and meet our customers' expectations. A passion for fashion and strong organisational skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Liaise with suppliers to ensure technical packs, artwork and fabric swatches.
• Follow up on sampling timelines and provide production updates.
• Work with Buyers to gather feedback on samples and support product development.
• Assist with supplier invoicing and production administration.
• Conduct quality control checks on incoming stock and samples.
• Assist with creating technical packs and CADs.
• Support the management of smaller product departments from order placement through to delivery.
• Build strong working relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, Buyers and internal stakeholders.
• Manage competing priorities and ensure production tasks are completed accurately and on time.

City Beach is looking for a motivated and organised Men's Production Assistant to join our Head Office team. Working alongside our Production Manager, Coordinators and Designers, you'll help bring our men's products from development through to delivery.

This is a great opportunity for someone passionate about fashion, product development and the behind-the-scenes processes that bring a collection to life. You'll work closely with suppliers, Buyers and internal teams to keep production on track, maintain product quality and ensure our products meet the standards our customers expect.

What You’ll Do

• Liaise with suppliers to ensure they have the correct technical packs, artwork and fabric swatches.

• Follow up on sampling timelines and provide regular production updates.

• Work with Buyers to gather feedback on samples and support product development.

• Assist with supplier invoicing and production administration.

• Conduct quality control checks on incoming stock and samples.

• Assist with creating technical packs and CADs.

• Support the management of smaller product departments from order placement through to delivery, where required.

• Build strong working relationships with suppliers, manufacturers, Buyers and internal stakeholders.

• Manage competing priorities and ensure production tasks are completed accurately and on time.

What We’re Looking For

• Strong organisational and administrative skills, with excellent attention to detail.

• The ability to manage a high-volume workload and meet deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

• Experience using Adobe software applications is preferred.

• Previous experience working with offshore suppliers is advantageous.

• A tertiary qualification in a relevant field is preferred.

• Mandarin-speaking skills are highly regarded but not essential.

• A proactive attitude, strong communication skills and a willingness to learn.
