Job summary

Fitness First Australia is seeking a proactive Membership Manager to lead a high-energy Member Support Consultant team. You will drive sales, retention, and superior member experiences at the club level, guiding frontline staff to convert conversations into memberships and build long-term fitness journeys.

You will coach, mentor, and motivate staff to exceed KPIs, manage performance, and partner with regional leaders on growth initiatives. A First Aid/CPR certificate is required.

Qualifications

• Proven background in sales and customer service with KPI achievement.
• Strong understanding of the sales cycle and customer retention strategies.
• Experience leading or mentoring a team to achieve goals.
• Confident using business systems and reporting tools.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Member Support Consultant team to achieve sales and retention targets.
• Drive member growth through acquisition, integration, and proactive retention strategies.
• Oversee front desk operations and set the standard for exceptional member service.
• Monitor performance, set goals, and provide training to ensure consistent team success.
• Support recruitment, onboarding, and development of Member Support Consultants.
• Collaborate with club and regional leaders to deliver membership growth initiatives.
