Job summary

Monash is seeking a Membership Consultant for Active Monash Leisure Centres in Glen Waverley, Oakleigh and Clayton. This casual sales role focuses on attracting new club members through friendly, professional service and effective presentations and tours of facilities.

You'll leverage strong customer service and sales skills, work well in a team, and travel between three centres as needed. Right to work in Australia and relevant checks are required; applications close 1 November 2026.

Our Active Monash Leisure Centres are highly regarded throughout the Aquatic and Recreation Industry, attracting over 1.5 million attendances per annum. About the Position The Membership Consultant provides a professional sales focus for prospective club members, implements sales and marketing strategies and actively sells club memberships.

The Membership Consultants’ role is integral to the continued growth and success of the Recreation Centres.

Responsibilities

• Act as a frontline representative of Active Monash
• Make a difference in our club culture by providing a warm, genuine and professional level of service in a fast-paced environment
• Conduct initial introductions, presentations and tours of our facilities

Requirements

• Right to work in Australia
• Employee Working with Children’s Check Satisfactory
• National Police Check Level II (Senior)
• First Aid qualification and CPR
• Current Driver's License and ability to travel to various work locations if required
• Ability to work a variety of day, night and weekend shifts across our three facilities in Glen Waverley, Oakleigh and Clayton
