Job summary

STAT Recruitment invites applications for 3x General Medicine Registrars at a hospital on the banks of the Macquarie River in Bathurst, New South Wales. The roles involve ward rounds, MET calls, clinical reviews, and discharge planning as part of the medicine service, with on-site support from a consultant.

Shifts run 0800–2030, with travel and accommodation provided. The roster includes consultant/registrar/junior support and additional inclusions, and duties will be advised on application.

Responsibilities

• Consultant on-site support available 24/7.

Job description

On the banks of the Macquarie River in the Central Tablelands of NSW, the vibrant regional centre of Bathurst is rich with history and gold rush heritage. With Mount Panorama-Whaluu rising in the distance, its also the home of Australian motor racing and a hotspot for motorsport enthusiasts.

This hospital consists of an emergency department and inpatient beds, as well as community health services. Also located on site is Daffodil Cottage, which provides cancer care services.

3 x Gen Med Registrar required

• $1600 daily
• Fri 30 Oct – Mon 2 Nov
• Shift: 0800-2030
• Duties: Ward rounds, MET calls, clinical reviews, discharge planning, etc
