Job summary

STAT Recruitment is seeking two General Medicine consultants to cover a period in Bathurst, NSW. The role involves transferring care of existing patients, setting up tasks for junior medical staff, and handling admissions calls. Travel and accommodation are provided by the hospital.

On-site work hours are Monday to Friday, 0800–1630, with one on-call shift per week from 0800 to 0800. Consulting staff will receive a $2,500 daily rate with additional details advised on application.

Job description

On the banks of the Macquarie River in the Central Tablelands of NSW, the vibrant regional centre of Bathurst is rich with history and gold rush heritage. With Mount Panorama-Whaluu rising in the distance, its also the home of Australian motor racing and a hotspot for motorsport enthusiasts.

This hospital consists of an emergency department and inpatient beds, as well as community health services. Also located on site is Daffodil Cottage, which provides cancer care services.
