Job summary

STAT Recruitment is seeking a General Medicine Consultant to cover a period at a Bathurst, NSW hospital. The assignment includes on-call duties, transfer of care of existing patients, and setting up tasks for JMOs and Registrars. Travel and accommodation are provided by the hospital.

Job description

On the banks of the Macquarie River in the Central Tablelands of NSW, the vibrant regional centre of Bathurst is rich with history and gold rush heritage. With Mount Panorama-Whaluu rising in the distance, its also the home of Australian motor racing and a hotspot for motorsport enthusiasts.

This hospital consists of an emergency department and inpatient beds, as well as community health services. Also located on site is Daffodil Cottage, which provides cancer care services.

On Call 25 Dec 0800 – 28 Dec 0800 -On site 0800 – 1700/ Off site 1700 – 0800
Distribution 28 Dec – 30 Dec 0800 – 1700
Transfer of care of existing patients. Set up tasks for JMOs and Registrars. Take calls for admissions and answer enquiries.
Registrar and intern support available.
Travel and accommodation provided by the hospital.
