Job summary

BD is seeking a Hospital Pharmacist to become a trusted expert in Pyxis, automation and medication safety across Australia and New Zealand. You will combine pharmacy expertise with education, consulting and project leadership to improve how medications are stored, managed and delivered.

Working with the Medication Safety & Infusion Clinical Team, you will partner with pharmacy leaders and clinicians to implement technology, optimise processes and drive patient safety.

Qualifications

• A degree in Pharmacy and current pharmacist registration.
• Significant experience within a hospital pharmacy environment.
• Strong understanding of medication safety, governance and best-practice management.
• Experience with medication automation technologies is advantageous, e.g. Pyxis or similar.

Responsibilities

• Deliver product training, clinical education and technical support to healthcare customers.
• Support product evaluations, clinical simulations, implementations and post-implementation optimisation programs.
• Design and deliver education programs tailored to individual customer needs.
• Partner with hospitals to improve medication management processes and support safety initiatives.
• Manage multiple projects across the customer lifecycle, from pre-sale support through implementation and optimisation.
• Conduct audits, assessments and continuous improvement activities to drive better outcomes.
• Build relationships with pharmacy leaders, clinicians and decision-makers.
• Represent BD at conferences and industry events.
