Job summary

Sydney Local Health District is seeking a Medical Records Clerk for Canterbury Hospital. The role involves delivering timely administrative and clerical support to the Medical Records Department, including retrieval, culling, scanning and PAS maintenance to ensure efficient operations.

Ideal candidates will have clerical experience in a medical records setting, familiarity with PAS systems (Cerner and PowerChart), strong communication skills, and the ability to multitask and adapt to changing

Qualifications

• Demonstrated clerical experience in a Medical Records Department or hospital environment.
• Experience using PAS systems (Cerner and PowerChart).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to adapt to changing processes and meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and clerical support to the Medical Records Department to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
• Retrieve, cull, scan and maintain the Patient Administration System (PAS).
