Maura Medical Centre in Bendigo is seeking a Medical Receptionist/Practice Coordinator to deliver patient–facing service and support clinic operations. The role starts on a casual basis and offers a clear pathway toward a permanent Practice Manager position as the clinic grows.

You will handle front desk duties, patient administration and identify workflow improvements, with progression into roster coordination, team communication and policy development as the clinic expands.

Formación

• Experience in medical reception or healthcare administration.
• Comfort managing a busy front desk.
• Able to identify what needs doing and follow through.
• Understanding of privacy and confidentiality in healthcare.
• Experience with Medicare billing, accreditation, rostering, policies would be highly regarded.

Responsabilidades

• Provide a warm and professional experience for patients and manage front desk operations.
• Handle appointments, phone inquiries and patient administration.
• Process billing and support Medicare, DVA and WorkCover.
• Manage correspondence, referrals, records and practice inboxes.
