St John Ambulance Western Australia Ltd. in Canberra seeks a casual Medical Receptionist to support busy health clinics, covering Joondalup, Osborne Park and Midland as needed.

Applicants should have GP/healthcare experience, strong communication, and the ability to manage multiple tasks with flexible hours. Role involves bookings, paperwork, phone handling, and billing using HICAPS/EFTPOS, with full working rights in Australia and a current Police Clearance preferred.

Qualifications

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Must have good availability.

Responsibilities

• Taking bookings for patients using Best Practice software.
• Processing Patient Paperwork (Faxing/Scanning and emailing Documents).
• Rescheduling Patient appointments.
• Answering multiple busy phone lines.
• Billings and accounts (HICAPS and EFTPOS).
