Job summary

Labcorp is seeking a Medical Lab Technologist to join our team in Redmond, Washington. You will determine the acceptability of specimens, perform routine and complex procedures, and report accurate results to support quality patient care.

This full-time role features a Wednesday–Saturday night shift from 10:00 PM to 8:30 AM, with overtime as needed. Requires a Bachelor’s Degree in Life Science or Medical Technology and ASCP or AMT certification, plus strong attention to detail and teamwork.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Life Science or Medical Technology required.
ASCP or AMT certification required.
High level of attention to detail; ability to prioritize and multitask.
Ability to work independently and within a team environment.

Responsibilities

Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria.
Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality.
Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls.
Report accurate and timely test results to deliver quality patient care.
Perform and document preventative maintenance and quality control procedures.
Identify and replenish testing bench supplies as necessary.
Assist with processing of specimens when needed.
Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate PPE.
