Job summary

Baxter International Inc. is seeking a Field Service Technician to support a range of medical devices across ANZ. This hands-on role involves on-site field service, repairs, and ensuring equipment stays compliant and delivers high-quality patient care.

You will work with hospitals and clinics, troubleshoot issues, manage service requests end-to-end, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive excellent customer outcomes.

Qualifications

• Degree or certificate in electrical, electronic, mechanical, biomedical engineering or IT field.
• Current Australian Driver's Licence.
• 1–3 years in hospitals, healthcare environments, or technical service roles.
• Experience servicing, maintaining, troubleshooting equipment is valued.
• Strong customer-facing and communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Perform field corrective actions, repairs and maintenance on Baxter equipment.
• Plan and execute service work aligned with customer needs and quality standards.
• Manage service requests from acknowledgement to completion with timely updates.
• Provide first-level technical support remotely and on-site.
• Escalate complex issues through proper channels for fast resolution.
• Maintain accurate service records and equipment histories per GDP.
• Support product quality initiatives and field actions.
• Collaborate with Technical Services, Quality and customer teams for outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with policies, regulations and QMS requirements.
• Complete administrative tasks including reports, inventory and expenses.
