Job summary

Queensland X-Ray is seeking a Medical Administrator for a full-time 12-month contract at Smithfield in Cairns. You will support reception, referral processing, patient administration and day-to-day running of the practice, with training to build confidence in the role.

The ideal candidate is reliable, friendly, results-driven and collaborative, with excellent communication and a professional presentation, ready to learn in a supportive diagnostic team.

About the role

We are excited to welcome a new Medical Administrator to our team at Smithfield on a full-time 12-month contract with possibility of extension. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career in medical administration. No previous medical or radiology experience is required, we are looking for someone who is reliable, professional, friendly and genuinely willing to learn. Working as part of our supportive team, you will assist with reception, referral processing, patient administration and day to day running of the practice. We will provide the training and support you need to become confident in the role.
