Job summary

Onsite Rental Group in Tom Price WA is seeking a Team Leader to head the service team, ensuring inspections, servicing and repairs meet high standards to support service demand. Based in Tom Price, the role reports to the Branch Manager and offers variety both on and off the tools.

You will coordinate servicing and repairs within budget to maximise equipment availability, mentor technicians, provide diagnostic guidance, and ensure parts and safety procedures are followed.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualification required.
• Experience leading teams or managing service demand.
• Strong planning, organisational and prioritisation skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and adaptability.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage costs in line with budgets.

Responsibilities

About the role

Based in Tom Price & reporting to the Branch Manager, you will lead the service team to ensure equipment inspections, servicing and repairs are completed to a high standard to support service demand.

This challenging and diverse role offers a variety of work, both on and off the tools.

As a Team Leader, you will:

• Coordinate equipment servicing & repairs in line with budget to maximise equipment availability & reliability
• Lead and mentor your team in their day to day activities
• Provide expert advice with diagnostics and customer requirements
• Train and guide technicians on service requirements and procedures, including Baseplan
• Ensure all necessary parts, consumables, tools, and equipment are available
• Lead safety culture & compliance for team / branch
• Conduct equipment servicing and repairs
