Job summary

ACCIONA is looking for a Mechanical Supervisor to oversee the mechanical construction works for a landmark desalination project in WA, reporting to the Project Manager. You will coordinate mechanical crews, manage work fronts, and ensure piping, pumps and rotating equipment meet safety and quality standards.

Working closely with engineers, subcontractors and other discipline supervisors, you will sequence work, resolve site issues and support commissioning through to handover.

Qualifications

• Requires mechanical trade qualification (Cert III/IV) in mechanical engineering, fitting or fabrication.
• White Card holder with construction site access is required.
• High Risk Work Licence for dogging/rigging or forklift is needed.
• Credentials for working at heights, confined space, and gas tests are required.

Responsibilities

• Plan and supervise mechanical construction activities for the desalination project.
• Coordinate mechanical crews, equipment, and materials on site.
• Review drawings, method statements and work packs for accuracy and safety.
• Monitor progress and address issues to keep the schedule on track.
• Enforce safety procedures, permits, isolations and quality standards.
