Job summary

Monadelphous is seeking experienced Mechanical and Structural Supervisors to join our Mackay Operations Team for upcoming shutdown work across Coal Mines in the Bowen Basin. This role offers permanent and casual positions with rosters across our sites.

You will lead mechanical crews, ensure HSE compliance, oversee planning and execution of shutdown tasks, and foster a safety-first, collaborative culture. A minimum of 2 years in site-based supervision and a recognised mechanical trade certificate

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a site-based supervisory role.
• Australian-recognised Mechanical Fitter or Boilermaker trade certificate (mandatory).
• Experience with Dragline and Wash Plant maintenance (highly regarded).
• Strong leadership, planning, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Open Driver’s Licence and full Australian work rights.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of mechanical crews.
• Ensure compliance with Monadelphous, client, and legislative HSE requirements.
• Oversee planning, scheduling, and execution of shutdown tasks.
• Maintain high standards of quality, safety, and environmental performance.
