The role supports planning, scheduling and execution of mechanical construction activities on remote, rostered project sites, translating specs and drawings into actionable work packs while ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's level mechanical engineering degree or equivalent.
• 2+ years' experience in mechanical project engineering within mining, industrial, SMP or construction environments.
• Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, specifications and construction documentation.
• Strong site-based experience with safety, quality and construction compliance.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, scheduling and execution of mechanical construction activities.
• Translate project specs, permits and drawings into work packs and execution plans.
• Monitor site progress, identify and resolve technical issues.
• Liaise with engineers, site supervisors and contractors to ensure design and safety compliance.
• Conduct regular site inspections and report milestones and variations.
• Assist with technical documentation, risk assessments and change management.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders and contribute to project meetings.
• Implement and manage quality assurance processes.
