Job summary

ProFound People Pty Ltd in North-East Victoria, VIC, Australia is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to join the team on a permanent basis. You will manage projects from concept through to manufacture, testing and delivery.

The ideal candidate has at least 3 years in a mechanical engineering role, experience in heavy vehicle manufacturing, and skills in project management, supplier liaison, and interpreting drawings. Occasional international travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years in a mechanical engineering role.
• Experience in heavy vehicle manufacturing, trailers, trucks or similar.
• Strong project management skills coordinating schedules, budgets, resources and stakeholders.
• Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Manage engineering projects from concept through to manufacture, testing and delivery.
• Coordinate project schedules, budgets, resources and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with design, manufacturing and production teams to meet milestones.
• Liaise with suppliers, customers and external stakeholders to progress work.
• Monitor progress, identify risks and resolve technical issues.
• Support development and improvement of heavy vehicle products and equipment.
