Job summary

Egis Group is seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to join our Sydney-based team, supporting Transurban’s Southern Sydney network, covering multiple motorways and tunnels. You will provide on-site mechanical engineering assistance to maintenance crews, handle complex defects, and supervise high-risk activities.

The role requires a Mechanical Engineering degree, 3-5 years of relevant experience, a White Card, Australian C Class license, and a commitment to safety.

Qualifications

Job Description

Egis is looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer to complement our Maintenance team in Sydney looking after Transurban’s Sydney Southern Network. This will include the motorway and tunnel environment covering the Eastern Distributor, Cross City Tunnel, M5 East, M5 South-West, M4 West, M4 East, M8, M4-M5 Link and Rozelle Interchange.

Reporting to the Engineering Manager for the Project, this position will:

provide practical, on-site Mechanical Engineering assistance to maintenance teams for complex defects, non-routine repairs and high-risk work activities

Qualifications

Required Experience, Skills and Qualifications

Bachelor of Engineering (Mechanical) or relevant recognised equivalent
