Job summary

DIALOG Fitzroy is seeking a Mechanical Foreman to lead the Brisbane workshop, with occasional travel to project sites. This hands-on leadership role requires a strong background in structural steel fabrication, tank building, pipe fitting, and welding.

You will mentor apprentices and drive safety, quality and on-time project delivery from Hemmant to Brisbane sites. Ideal candidates have 3+ years in trades plus 5+ years in a leadership role, and a committed approach to developing the next

Qualifications

• Hold relevant trade Diploma/Certificate; Australian standard equivalent with 3 years full-time trade experience.
• At least 5 years' experience in a leadership or similar role.
• Extensive experience in structural steel fabrication and tank construction.
• Strong pipe fitting and welding experience, including weld inspection knowledge.
• Excellent understanding of welding procedures, welding standards, and quality requirements.
• Proven experience leading workshop teams or supervising tradespeople.
• Demonstrated ability to teach, train, and mentor apprentices and tradesmen.
• Strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to quality workmanship and workplace safety.

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Foreman to lead our Brisbane workshop team with potential occasional travel to project sites or away for work. Key Responsibilities
