Job summary

Stark Food Systems in Griffith is seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter for a long-term career with one of Australia’s fastest-growing industrial maintenance teams. You will undertake preventative and breakdown maintenance on food processing equipment, fault finding, and work alongside an experienced maintenance team to maximise uptime.

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fabricator or Diesel Mechanic.
• Proven mechanical fault-finding skills.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Fault finding and repairs on industrial food processing equipment
• Working alongside an experienced maintenance team
• Ensuring equipment reliability and maximum uptime
• Following safety and food manufacturing standards

What We’re Looking For

• Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fabricators and Diesel Mechanics
• Strong mechanical fault-finding skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Experience in food manufacturing or abattoir environments is highly regarded (but not essential)
