Job summary

JKL Product Solutions Pty Ltd, Narangba, is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters and/or Boilermakers for an immediate 3-week dismantling project on Brisbane Northside.

Working with a small crew, you’ll dismantle industrial machinery, perform oxy cutting and grinding, unbolt components and prepare gear for lifting and transport, around cranes and lifting operations.

Own transport to Narangba and commitment to the full 3-week duration are essential.

JKL Product Solutions is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters and/or Boilermakers for an immediate start on a 3-week machinery dismantling project in Narangba, Brisbane Northside.

The Role

Working as part of a small crew, you will be involved in dismantling industrial machinery and equipment in preparation for removal and transport.

Duties will include:

• Mechanical dismantling and disassembly of machinery
• Oxy cutting and grinding
• Unbolting and removal of mechanical components
• Dismantling conveyors, drives and associated equipment
• Preparing machinery and components for lifting and transport
• Working around cranes and lifting operations
• General mechanical and heavy industrial dismantling work

About You

We are looking for experienced, hands‑on tradespeople who can work safely, use their initiative and get stuck into the job.

Experience with fixed plant, machinery dismantling, shutdowns, heavy industrial equipment or machinery installation/removal would be highly regarded.

Requirements

• Mechanical Fitter and/or Boilermaker trade qualification
• Confident with oxy cutting, grinders and general dismantling work
• Good mechanical aptitude
• Reliable and able to work effectively as part of a small crew
• Own transport to Narangba
• Available for the full 3-week project

Dogging, rigging, forklift and EWP tickets would be advantageous.

This is initially a 3-week project, with the potential for further machinery installation, dismantling and project work with JKL Product Solutions for the right people.
