Job summary

Warrikal Pty is seeking experienced Mechanical Fitters to support planned shutdowns, maintenance and project works across WA. You will join a team delivering reliable fixed-plant maintenance in a dynamic mining and industrial environment.

The role requires reading engineering drawings, performing precision maintenance, and working safely within a multidisciplinary team. FIFO from Perth is common, with self-management through our App and clear career pathways offered.

Qualifications

• Australian working rights required.
• Trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter.
• Working at Heights and Confined Space certificates required.
• HRWL is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Execute planned shutdowns within fixed plant environments.
• Perform preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance.
• Undertake precision mechanical maintenance and major asset overhauls.
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications and documentation.
• Inspect assets and report conditions.
• Install and maintain vibrating and rotating equipment.
• Carry out specialised conveyor maintenance and repairs.
• Contribute to safety, quality and production targets in a multidisciplinary team.

Warrikal is growing - and we're looking for experienced Mechanical Fitters to grow with us. Due to sustained demand across multiple clients, we're expanding our team to deliver planned shutdowns, maintenance and project works across WA.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute planned shutdowns within a fixed plant environment
• Complete preventative, corrective and breakdown maintenance
• Undertake precision mechanical maintenance and major asset overhauls
• Perform asset inspections, fault finding and condition reporting
• Install and maintain vibrating and rotating equipment
• Complete specialised conveyor maintenance and repairs
• Undertake mine site refurbishment and mechanical repairs
• Read, interpret and follow engineering drawings, specifications and technical documentation
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to achieve safety, quality and production targets

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Construction White Card
• Relevant Australian recognised trade qualification
• Working at Heights Certificate
• Enter and Work in Confined Space Certificate
• High Risk Work Licence (HRWL) is advantageous
• Experience in fixed plant maintenance, shutdowns and major equipment overhauls
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
• Willingness to learn new techniques, tools and methods to expand your skillset
