Job summary

Warrikal is seeking experienced MC Drivers to join our Procurement, Asset & Logistics Team in Newman, WA. This long-term FIFO role offers pathways to permanency, with a safety-focused culture and strong team support in the WA mining sector.

You will operate triple road trains, transport freight and site materials, update journey records, and ensure equipment is kept to a high standard while following safety and environmental procedures. Australian working rights are required.

Qualifications

• Must hold full MC Driver License with a clean driving history.
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an MC Driver.
• Construction White Card holder is required.
• FIFO availability to Newman WA is expected.
• Australian working rights are mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Operating triple road train combinations with trailing equipment.
• Transporting freight, equipment and site materials safely.
• Loading and transferring 20ft and 40ft containers to trailers.
• Completing transport paperwork and journey records accurately.
• Maintaining equipment and trucks to a high standard.
• Collaborating with logistics and operational teams.
• Following safety and environmental procedures consistently.
• Coordinating with supervisors to ensure efficient schedules.
• Reporting incidents and near misses per safety policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Operating triple road train combinations with various trailing equipment.
• Transporting freight, equipment and site materials safely
• Loading and transferring 20ft and 40ft containers
• Completing transport paperwork and journey records
• Maintaining equipment and truck are to a high standard
• Working closely with logistics and operational teams
• Following strict safety and environmental procedures
• Communicate with supervisors, team members and stakeholders to coordinate schedules, address concerns and ensure operations are conducted efficiently
• Aim for continuous improvement by collaborating with required stakeholders and teams
• Comply with safety and environmental standards and regulations including spills
• Adhere to all relevant road safety regulations in line our vehicle safety policies
• Report incidents, accidents, or near misses in line with safety policies and procedures
• Prepare delivery receipts and other relevant documentation when required

About You

• Full Australian Working Rights
• Full MC Driver License and Clean Driving History
• Minimum 3 years’ experience as an MC Driver
• Construction White Card
• Vehicle Loading Crane Ticket Preferred
• Previous experience operating a side loader or swing-lift to load and transfer with 20ft and 40ft containers to trailers
• Strong communication skills, work ethic and a positive attitude
