Mechanical Fitters, Water Industry - Approx $2,700 per week

Workfast is looking for Mechanical Fitters to join our growing Urban utilities team based in Brisbane Metro, QLD.

We operate nationwide, and our employees work across a wide range of industries. We are actively seeking dedicated Mechanical Fitters to join our Urban utilities Team. You will be part of a motivated crew working in a fast-paced environment, ensuring that operations run smoothly, safely, and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities

• perform routine, preventive, and reactive maintenance on water and wastewater treatment and delivery infrastructure, ensuring optimal system performance and reliability.
• Fault-finding and diagnostics on mechanical components
• Preventative maintenance and breakdown support
• Ensuring all work is completed to WHS standards
• Working alongside production teams to minimise downtime
• Accurate documentation of maintenance tasks and reporting of issues

What You Bring to the Team

• Experience on wastewater treatment plants and all equipment located within the plant (Desirable)
• Australian Driver's Licence and full working rights
• Prior experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar mechanical role
• National Licence to perform High Risk work (Desirable)
• Ability to pass pre-employment medical & drug and alcohol testStrong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
• A can-do attitude and willingness to support the team when required
• Commitment to workplace safety and professionalism
