Delta Power & Energy (Vales Point) Pty Ltd – Mannering Park NSW seeks an experienced Mechanical Fitter to join our Maintenance team at Vales Point Power Station. This permanent role delivers hands-on problem solving, safe practices, and opportunities to contribute to powering Australia.

You will lead small teams, mentor apprentices, manage work orders, and drive improvements to plant efficiency while upholding the highest safety standards.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering - Mechanical Trade required.
• Experience in heavy industry or power stations preferred.
• Proven track record in hands-on maintenance and reliability.
• Ability to mentor apprentices and lead small teams.
• Commitment to safety and quality in high-risk environments.

Responsabilités

• Perform high-quality maintenance on plant and equipment.
• Lead, mentor, and share knowledge with apprentices and team members.
• Collaborate with contract teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Develop and conduct risk assessments to maintain safety.
• Manage work orders in the WMS system from start to finish.
• Apply for and receive Permits to Work with the required certifications.
• Lead small teams and guide day-to-day tasks.
• Assess plant conditions and identify efficiency improvements.
• Review and improve maintenance processes for reliability.
