Job summary

Motion is a national leader in industrial supply, seeking a qualified Mechanical Fitter at our Rutherford branch in NSW. You will service hydraulic hose manufacturing, fittings, repairs and provide field service support across customer sites.

Travel to sites to inspect, diagnose, remove, install and repair hydraulic hoses and related components, delivering quality work and maintaining strong customer relationships.

Qualifications

• Certificate III in Engineering (Mechanical Trade)
• Two years of experience in a similar mechanical fitting, service or repair role is highly desirable
• Knowledge of mechanical inspection, servicing and repair methods
• Experience rebuilding and repairing hydraulic components, transmissions and undercarriage
• Strong troubleshooting, time-management and customer-service skills
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Current driver's license essential
• Commitment to safe work practices
• Willingness to carry out site work
• Ability to work autonomously and in a team

Responsibilities

• Service and repairs of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for automotive, commercial, off highway and industrial applications
• Maintenance and overhaul of mobile and fixed plant equipment and components
• Quality results in agreed timeframes
• Assemble and overhaul of undercarriage and final drive components

• Assist with other production activities and general workshop duties

Are you a qualified Mechanical Fitter looking for a hands‐on role with variety?

Join our Rutherford branch and use your technical skills across hydraulic hose manufacturing, fitting, repairs and field service support.

Travel to customer sites to inspect, diagnose, remove, install and repair hydraulic hoses, fittings and related components.

Your Day-to-Day Will Include

• Service and Repairs of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for automotive, commercial, off highway and industrial applications.

Who are you
