Job summary

Motion in Rutherford, NSW, is seeking a hands-on Mechanical Fitter to service and repair hydraulic hoses, fittings and related components across workshop and field locations.

Join our team to inspect, diagnose and overhaul hydraulic systems, with travel to customer sites and a focus on quality, safety and customer satisfaction. Salary reviews, bonus opportunities and comprehensive benefits accompany this role.

Qualifications

• Two years’ experience in a mechanical fitting, service or repair role is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of mechanical inspection, servicing and repair methods.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Service and repairs of hydraulic and pneumatic equipment for automotive, commercial, off-highway and industrial applications.
• Maintenance and overhaul of mobile and fixed plant equipment and components.
• Assemble and overhaul of undercarriage and final drive components.
• Conduct audits, inspections and hydraulic fault diagnosis.
• Travel to customer sites to inspect, diagnose, remove, install and repair hydraulic hoses, fittings and related components.
