To succeed you will hold a Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade, have White Card, confined space and working at heights tickets, a current High Risk Work Licence, and experience reading drawings.

Qualifikationen

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade or equivalent.
• Competent reading of technical and fabrication drawings.
• Experience in tank construction, petrochemical or refinery environments.
• Experience with mechanical assembly, pipe fitting, and large steel structures installation.
• Strong commitment to quality workmanship and attention to detail.
• Current White Card (Construction Induction) and valid safety tickets.

• Install, assemble, maintain and repair mechanical components.

• Support basic welding and component installation as required.

The Mechanical Fitter is responsible for the installation, assembly, maintenance, and repair of mechanical components.

About You

• Certificate III in Engineering – Mechanical Trade (or equivalent).
• Previous experience in tank construction, petrochemical or refinery environments.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical and fabrication drawings.
• Experience with mechanical assembly, pipe fitting, and installation on large steel structures.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Current White Card (Construction Induction)
• Available to start 11 November 2026
• Confined Space and Working at Heights certifications
• Valid High Risk Work Licence (e.g., EWP, Forklift, dogging)
• Valid Electrical Spotter ticket
• Basic welding skills.
• First Aid certification

• Be willing to complete a Police check
• Successfully complete a Pre-employment medical
• Have valid and updated tickets and qualifications.
